What WeAre Looking For
We’re looking for an intern to help outline, create, and edit videos.
The video style will vary based on what is going on, but mostly creating behind the scenes video content (i.e., meetings and office life) to edit them to be used on social networks. You would need to be able to take an idea and run with it and understand what a good video looks like.
Let's Talk About You!
You’re comfortable working with Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
You need to have experience and be comfortable with video editing software such as, Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects. You don't have to be a professional video editor, but be willing to work at learning new skills and techniques to accomplish whatever the end video goal is.
You’re willing to collaborate with others.
Long Drive Agency is a small team so you’ll never feel like you’re just a number here. You can listen and provide input to help move projects forward and in the right direction. You can take critiques and use them to better a video.
You understand basic design principles.
You need to understand what a good video is, understand the basics of what transitions work well for that video style, and be able to take simple behind the scenes video content to create an all-around vlog style video.
You will need to be creative for this role, or at least be wiling to try new styles and be able to work with our team on creating a video that matches what we are needing done.
You enjoy video.
This isn't just a role of taking the video, but actually editing it to make the final piece. The video may be a Vlog style or we may need to do a project for one of our clients, so you will need to be able to adapt well and run with ideas. The majority of your time at the office will be taking and editing video, so you'll need to enjoy it!
Things You Might Do...
Long Drive Agency is a small marketing agency, that’s growing quickly.
You’ll mainly be creating vlog style videos but additional project may come up here and there.
Here are some things you may do:
- Taking behind-the-scenes videos around the LDA office and creating videos out of them
- Be able to efficiently use Premiere Pro or After Effects to accomplish the style needed
- Understand basic editing and style principles, such as what transitions to use
- Be able to effectively resize and repurpose video content to be distributed on multiple networks (i.e., creating a video specifically sized for Instagram Stories versus YouTube)
- Collaborate well with others on the style, scenes, editing, and overall end-goal of a video.
- Give, receive, and apply feedback on both completed and in progress projects
